Where the Wild Things Are

“Where the Wild Things Are” is a Warner Brothers movie based on the beloved childrens book. I saw the trailer during “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” and I seriously almost cried while watching the trailer. I don’t know why but I think the movie is so heart felt and it brought the little kid who use to pretend out of me. It sound silly but it really touched me and I plan on seeing it October 16, 2009. The song in the trailer is good too, its by “Arcade Fire” and it’s called “Wake Up.”

The cast includes Catherine Keener, Max Records, James Gandolfini, Angus Sampson, Forest Whitaker, Lauren Ambrose, Catherine O’Hara and Paul Dano. For more information on this movie go to http://wherethewildthingsare.warnerbros.com/. So people can know how I feel, I bring you the trailer:

I have made POP! mobile so you can get it on your phone. There is a box over on the side bar that if you put your cellphone number into it you will receive the mobile URL for POP! I’m working on making the site fully mobile so you are able to type the regular URL in and automatically get the mobile site but it isn’t working out so well so this will have to do.

Chris Brown’s First Interview

Chris Brown will do his first interview since the beating he put on Rihanna on “Larry King Live” Wednesday according to Radar. I hear that he had asked to do it on Oprah but she declined! Some people think he chose to do it on Larry King so he won’t be get hit with some questions that would be too hard-hitting. I’m going to tune in for sure.

Paula Abdul wrote on her Twitter page Tuesday that she will not be returning to “American Idol.” She has chose not to return but I think she was getting afraid that she wasn’t going to get contacted to return so not to look like an idiot she decided to leave on her on. The fourth judge that joined last year will return and be the third judge. Fox later confirmed that she would not be returning. I also think it’s due to the fact that Ryan Seacrest was asked to return for $45 million and there is a rumour that Simon is getting more than that.

First Britney Spears and now Lady Gaga! Lady GaGa got a slamming 9 nominations at the VMAs this year! So did Beyonce! I can’t wait to see this year’s VMA’s. I will post it later with the full list of people who got nominated.

Look at this cover. This is just me thinking and talking. When you see this album cover you think you are going to get some hardcore rap tunes. Truth is all you are going to hear is the theme song to “G-Force”, a movie by Disney, that talks about put your body on the floor. He makes some good club bangers, but if he is all about club bangers he might as well put his self on the cover with lights all around.

At least Nelly Furtado was smart enough to not be seen in the video her self but as some computer animated version of her. It’s just something on my mind that I thought I should post. Why have a hardcore album cover and fun beats that kids are listen to as they watch secret agent gerbils?

Guess Who’s Back

There is a new “A Nightmare on Elm Street” movie and it’s not your average horror movie. The first movie done by Wes Craven was good and then the movie started to become a comedy/horror franchise that was just plain out stupid. Now director Samuel Bayer is going to do what Rob Zombie did with the “Halloween” franchise and revamp it up. He has minus-ed the comedy, jacked up the gore and horror, plus we have a new Freddy. I wonder how Robert Englund feels?

The new Freddy is the Oscar-nominated actor from “Watchmen” and “Little Children”, Robert Earle Haley. I love him as an actor and he chooses interesting roll but some remakes don’t work out and I’m afraid he will ruin his good name with this film. Check out the new “A nightmare on Elm Street” on April 30, 2010.

P.S. Extra news is that Haley has signed for the remake and 2 other films, so there will be three more new “Nightmare” movies.

Here’s the popular video of the “Best I Ever Had” singer falling on stage. Drake was performing at “The America’s Most Wanted” tour when he fell. I hear it was due to his torn ACL that he messed up while playing basketball. He had to be carried off stage…he has an accuse on why he fell but still it’s embarrassing! He’s having surgery this week.
