I was reading something on Nylon’s website about this designer Dave Brown who has a clothing company that if you buy a shirt from them they will plant 20 trees and protect them and maintain them. The movie that has been selected as certified fresh by Rotten Tomatoes is on everyone’s tongue this year. I’m excited to see it and thought I should give this movie some free publicity. “(500) Days of Summer” is about a man who falls in love with girls name…well Summer and the 500 days they are together. Like the sub text says, “this isn’t a love story. It’s a story about love.”
**Spoiler Alert** Because they don’t live happily ever after at the end but they eventually break up like all relationships in life. It’s so smart because this has never been done before. Everyone see this movie and make it “Little Miss Sunshine” big.
Madonna is coming out with her 3rd greatest hits album and I’m dying in anticipation. Being a huge Madonna fan myself you have no idea how big a deal this is. The album is called “Celebration” and she is coming out with a new single called “Celebration” by famous DJ and producer Paul Oakenfold. It’s being released on September 29th, 2009 in a single CD, a double CD, and a DVD with Madonna’s best videos.

Nicki the Ninja, Nicki Lewinsky, Nicki the Harijuku Barbie, Nicki the Boss! Who is Nicki Minaj? The next big thing in female rap. Nicki Minaj has been around for a while through mixtapes. Her first mix tape was Playtime is Over then came Sucka Free 08, and her newest one Beam Me Up Scotty.
I have all three mixtapes and trust me they are hot. Nicki Minaj, real name Onika Maraj, is from Southside Jamaica, Queens, New York. As she say she is black, chinese, and butta pecan but in real life she is Afro-Trinidadian and Indo-Asian. There have be specializations that she is bi-sexual due to some of her lyrics in music. Saying things like she would only stop for a real bad lesbian, but hasn’t confirmed it yet.
Minaj has won Female Artist of the Year at the Underground Music Awards. I heard through the grape vine that she is going to bring out her own album next year. I can’t wait to hear her new material from this new Queen of Female Rap. Now you know who Nicki Minaj is.
I’ve always admired Christina Aguilera on how she can change the sound of her music for each album she makes. She’s been the innocent love-crazed teen, the dirty Xtina, the glamorous old school flapper, and now she’s taking us to the future. In a recent interview for her new radio channel that is expected to launch this Friday she said her next album is going to be a futuristic sound. She said that she always had the idea for a more futuristic album and a old school jazz album.
Aguilera said that she thought it would make more sense for her to bring the old school jazz album first [Back to Basic] and then this new sound. Whiling making the album she mentioned she didn’t listen to much what was going on the radio cause she wanted everything to be original that she do. Alot of people had tried the futuristic sound before and failed. I hope she doesn’t be one of those people. But she pulled off alot in the past so she might be able to do it.

There is this show that I love to watch on the Cartoon Network’s late night programming Adult Swim. It’s called Squidbillies and I love it. Last night I saw an episode and it had two people coming to visit their town who was a relative of the main character. Well the two people was incredibly similar to two celebrity reality star parents who just got a divorce. I’m crying with my friend Vicki because the couple who we thought would eventually get married – split up! This is old news and I’m not reporting about it but I’m just giving my view on it. They say the reason for the split was because Reggie didn’t like the Hollywood life. They were planning to move in together and they disagreed where to stay at. He wanted to live in New Orleans and she wanted to stay in LA. But if he really loved her her he wouldn’t have broke up with her over moving disagreement. I hear it wasn’t cause one of them cheated. I really did think this relationship could last. Let’s hope they get back together.
Look at that picture. Why the hell is everyone else smiling in it! The children look so sad and La Toya’s crazy eyed self is smiling and that man behind them. That’s was just something that bothered me. The most interesting part of the Michael Jackson opera is the children.
An announcement today said that Michael Jackson’s children will be staying with the grandmother and Debbie Rowe will have visitation rights. When I heard the news it sounded like that the children have just found out that Debbie Rowe is their mother recently. People are saying that one of the sisters should have gotten the children but Michael didn’t have that in his will. If it was me at Michael’s mother’s age I would put in my will that the children go to one of the sisters because she is not going to live long enough to see everyone of them to turn 18. It was the right choice in the first place to have them go to their grandmother due to the fact that they didn’t know who Debbie Rowe was.
It would be a very strange situation going into a new environment with someone they never knew.
I’m going to be the one to say the unspoken. We know Michael Jackson is dead and we don’t have to keep hearing about weeks after he died. I do honestly want to know what happen to him and where the hell he is going to be buried, but why is everyone still watching this mess. He’s dead, the media can’t even leave him alone after death. It’s getting annoying at looking at every news stand in a Wal-Mart, “Michael’s Secret Past.”
I hope the children isn’t seeing this about him not being their dad. It was sad to have him die so suddenly but the media is getting out of hand. I have a theory on why he was so shocking in the first place. It’s a D’UH theory but here it go. It’s because we didn’t know anything was wrong when signs were there all along.

In my previous post I talked about the recast of Victoria, well the old woman that played Victoria has made a statement about her being re casted. I didn’t say it in the last blog but she didn’t know she was being re casted she thought was in the new movie but she got shocked. Honestly I can’t help but laugh, she got played, she didn’t see it coming. LMAO But yet I feel bad.
“I was fully committed to the ‘Twilight’ saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria. I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules. My commitment to ‘Barney’s Version’ is only ten days. Summit picked up my option for ‘Eclipse.’ Although the production schedule for ‘Eclipse’ is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during those ten days and would not accommodate me. Given the length of filming for ‘Eclipse,’ never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10 day overlap. I was happy with my contract with Summit and was fully prepared to continue to honor it. Summit chose simply to recast the part. I am greatly saddened that I will not get to complete my portrayal of Victoria for the ‘Twilight’ audience. This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate. I will be forever grateful to the fan support and loyalty I’ve received since being cast for this role, and I am hurt deeply by Summit’s surprising decision to move on without me. I wish the cast and crew of ‘Eclipse’ only the very best.”

I love Lily Allen but alot of people seem to hate her because she is honest and not like your regular celebrities.
There are sequels and there are prequels. There is also sad excuses to make more money [Wolverine movie]. I have a love/hate relationship with sequels but when movies who should just stay alone by itself makes me angry. John Waters is working on a “Hairspray” sequel and that movie was great but, why a sequel? It don’t need a sequel.
Some sequels are just brilliant, “The Dark Knight, and some were made to be a franchise. Super hero movies are suppose to be a franchise. “The Silence of the Lambs” had a sequel that I thought was good. The the prequel to the sequel was even better, “Red Dragon.” Then they over did it with the movie “Hannibal Rising.” Why?
I think if the movie wasn’t made to be a franchise it shouldn’t go past number 3 when it’s a sequel. Like Scream 4 that is in pre-production and I think it doesn’t deserve to be even in talks. They’re trying to get Nev Campbell back but she is smart enough to stop. Now I said in this post superhero movies are made to be franchise but “Spider-Man” was filmed and made like it was going to be a trilogy. “Spider-Man 4″ needs to really do great for us to believe they should make more.
Sequels can be good and bad as I said. But you know what I love! When something surprises me in being a good sequel. I think the sequel to “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” might pull that off.
